I was really lucky this Christmas and birthday and I received lots of great kawaii (cute) stuff. I’ve already told you about the gorgeous Hello Kitty Liberty Art Fabrics dinner set which I received for my birthday, but here are some of the other things I received…
Christmas looked promising from the start:
I got some kawaii Christmas decorations from John Lewis as gifts:
A cute Hello Kitty purse from my Mum:
More from the Hello Kitty Liberty Art Fabrics range – my friend got me this pretty mirror and pouch:
I was delighted to receive this fabulous My Neighbour Totoro wallet:
It’s so cute on the inside too:
A steampunk necklace from Pirates of Pendants (my friend’s Etsy shop):
I’m not sure if this really counts as ‘kawaii’, but it’s gorgeous and I think it would look great with Japanese fashion. I wonder if there is such a thing as ‘Steampunk Lolita’? If not, there should be.
One of my friends made me this lovely purse using Japanese-style fabric:
It’s perfect for all those little bits and bobs that float around in my handbag.
I was really excited when this arrived in the post from my Japanese friend:
And even more excited when I saw what was inside. A really soft blanket with a cute character pocket:
A Rilakkuma notepad:
And Rilakkuma post-its, which say on the outside “What’s your fun to make you relax? Let’s enjoy your happy life with Rilakkuma.” Yes, let’s!
Finally, the pièce de résistance of kawaii gifts… a Rilakkuma onesie, chosen by my 16-year-old cousin (who has a Pikachu one)!
Haha – that’s all you’re getting – I’m not posing in it! It does look a bit ridiculous when it’s on, but it’s very cosy and warm, and ever so cute!
I’m really pleased with all the wonderful gifts I received this year, and my friends and family clearly know me well! Thanks a lot everyone! ☆*:.。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆

Love the onesie!
Haha! It’s great, isn’t it?
I LOVE the wallet and pendant! (*゚▽゚*)
They’re great, aren’t they? Check out my friend’s Etsy store (link above) for more jewellery like that.
Thanks for including my pendant in your list of goodies x
Well, it’s very beautiful! How could I not include it?
My sister bought me a yellow maiko tree decoration from John Lewis – they are very cute!
They are cute, aren’t they? I’ll look forward to getting that out again next year!
super cute gifts! :]
