Yesterday we sung “Twist and Shout” at karaoke and now I’m reminded of the lyrics…
Well, shake it up, baby, now (Shake it up, baby)
Twist and shout (Twist and shout)
C’mon, c’mon, c’mon, c’mon, baby, now (Come on baby)
Come on and work it on out (Work it on out)
One month on from the big earthquake that hit the Tohoku region of Japan, we are still shaking. Today there was another magnitude 6 earthquake in the same region, which was felt as a 1 or 2 here in Hamamatsu. I was on the 8th floor of my hotel in my room, so I felt quite a wobble. It makes you feel dizzy.
C’mon Japan – please stop shaking it up now, will you?
There are tsunami warnings in the Tohoku region and they must be pretty badly shaken up I guess. But Shizuoka Prefecture is just fine, in case anyone is wondering. I just can’t believe there are still “aftershocks” happening one month on (can we actually still call these “aftershocks”?!).
Take care everyone.
