Reasons to visit Japan #2

There are so many reasons to visit Japan, and here’s another one: it’s just so cheap at the moment!

I noticed a special offer on the Japan Travel Centre website today for an Air France London to Tokyo flight for just £529 return! KLM also appeared to be matching that price, with a whole host of other airlines also offering special deals to Japan.

At prices like that, it would be rude not to! 😉

If you’re considering a trip to Japan this year and you’re in London this weekend, why not pop along to the Destinations Travel Show at Earls Court. There will be a number of Japan and Asia travel experts there, able to advise you in planning and booking your trip. I’ll certainly be popping along to the Inside Japan Tours stand for a little chat, and I’m hoping to speak to the folks at the Into Japan Specialist Tours stand too.

On Thursday 2nd February there will be a talk called “Japan – Now, more than ever before” by David Lee of Into Japan Specialist Tours with special guest Michael Jay, and on Sunday 5th February there will be a talk called “There’s only one Japan: Inspirational experiences in the Land of the Rising Sun” by Maddy Rodell of Inside Japan Tours. Unfortunately I have to work on the Thursday, but I’m planning to attend on the Saturday and Sunday, so I will try to get lots of up-to-date information to share with you all (and to help me plan my next trip!).

The Times Destinations Travel & Holiday Show is on from Thursday 2nd February to Sunday 5th February at London’s Earls Court. For more information or to book tickets, please visit their website: destinationsshow.com.

  2. Unfortunately even though flights are cheaper everything else has gone up thanks to the exchange rate. Which means I won’t be able to go this year! I am glad I went a couple of years ago, sadly it’s simply out of my financial reach now. 😦
