Postcard from Japan: Yarn Alive

Today I had the absolute pleasure of meeting some of the ladies from Yarn Alive, a charitable group based in Shichigahama. Yarn Alive started as a group of people meeting up to talk and knit after the tsunami in 2011, and has become a project which is now able to help others in need by donating knitted products. It’s important for these ladies to have a purpose and to keep their minds (and fingers!) active, and Yarn Alive provides the perfect solution. Follow Yarn Alive’s adventures with wool on their lovely blog, which is always a pleasure to read: Yarn Alive blog. Thank you to everyone at Yarn Alive for letting me share their day today!
